Sauna Essentials

  • Towels & Robe

    Towels & Robe

You’ll need two towels and an optional robe. One towel for sitting on in the sauna and one for drying with. Robes make getting changed outside that extra bit more comfortable.

  • Water

    Bottle of water

Make sure to keep hydrated throughout your sauna session. There is a tap to refill at Llangrannog and Llandysul. We recommend leaving your bottle outside the sauna as it gets very hot.

  • Sandals or Crocs

It’s really handy to have a pair of shoes you can put on to make it down to the waters edge. Any kind of slip on sandals will get you there. Not essential but definitely worth it!

  • Swimmers

Of course, you’ll need something to wear.. metal gets very hot in the sauna so avoid any swimwear with heavy metal features. We ask that there is no nudity in our saunas please

 FAQs

  • We run our saunas like they do in Scandinavia.. HOT - between 80-100 degrees centigrade. WOW!

  • The changing facilities are minimal so we recommend arriving in your bathers. A changing robe makes this a lot easier. There is a small shelter nearby in both Llangrannog and Llandysul.

  • Yes, it’s important to sit on a towel to help the benches live a long life. They also get quite hot so the towel acts as a nice buffer for your bum

  • We’ve got em! Just go to the ‘Gifts & Packages’ page and take a look around.

  • We’re working on this one.. but in the meantime we do a ‘5 Sawna Package’ which is basically buy 5 for the price of 4. Lovely

  • We know you’re going to want to.. It’s at your own risk, but ask us what we think on the day. The conditions change daily. There are other ways to cool down in both locations.

  • Over 16 in communal sessions and over 5 in Private. Anyone below 16 will need to have a parent/guardian present at all times and sign a form on the way in.

Sauna perfection. Spotless facilities. Cold bath. Showers. And the stunning beach. Even with the tide out it’s easy to get into the sea. Sauna was HOT. 97 degrees top. Lovely eucalyptus scented aufguss. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will be back!

Wow! Where to begin? Beautiful views of the sea and surfers 🤙 Really friendly staff who went above and beyond to give us the best experience. A quick 30 second run (or 20 if you’re fit) to the sea or ice baths to dunk in if you’re feeling less brave. Left feeling so happy and rejuvenated. Big up Joe (if your name is Joe, you looked like a Joe). Thanks so much team and Joe 🤩
